In competition with Steve, I would feel I must put finger to keyboard before
tucking my crocodile under my arm, grasping my keys[1] in my hand, and
taking my shampoo bottle (and rolled-up newspaper) to the postie to further
fund our wonderful administration via excise duty.

YAAWN nearly put myself to sleep there too :)

    [1] which I just found

Nah, you've really got to work at the boring thing to become a
'dull-master'. I've been practicing for years and my technique is
    near-perfect.

You had way too much action, drama and suspense in that little precursor to
    a story.

Do you think I might also have potentially sparked interest in the reader
with all that talk of crocodiles and keys?

Yes, intrigue is always a bad start for an ultra-dull post. Better luck
    next time.

  6. I'm touched :)

Incidentally, if you can find your way to Spain (in a couple of months),
we can have a beer or 2 at Soto's Bar.

  7. Hint: I'm going to be unemployed. Anyway, what's wrong with hitch-hiking?

Actually, I'll probably have room in the car on the way out, but you'd
have to find your own way back.

Lol! Remind me - what was the reaction of the others? It didn't involve
knawing off their own limbs in order to survive, did it?
