Moderate your tone and I might respond. A little politeness costs
    nothing.

Read Mein Kampf and decide for yourself. For further reading try
the "Europaischewirtschaftgemeinschaft", Hitler's plan for the
    European Community published in 1942.

Nah mate, you're getting mixed up with the EU.
Our honourable withdrawal from Hong Kong left China quids in, and
they also honoured their own obligations. The UK is held in very
    high regard.

I found a hundred quid's worth of Deutschmarks in a drawer the
other week that I'd forgotten about. <sob> Too late to do
anything with them. Or does anyone have any (clean) suggestions?

You guys come on with all this trendy anti-American bullshite but
although you will deny it here you all watch their films & TV
shows, eat their burgers and goggle over their Baywatch babes.

You're absolutely correct, of course. I live in a bus-shelter, wear
plastic-bags on my feet and eat out of skips. But have you ever sat in a
court and listened to a barrister beating a point s-l-o-w-l-y to death,
burying it then digging it up and hitting it all over again? Have you
listened to them s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g a simple bag-snatch [for example] into
a 4-day hearing? Have you ever read a Counsel's Opinion? I have paid
thousands for a beardless youth to waste 8 pages describing what I had told
him, then closing with a final 50:50 paragraph which offered no 'opinion'
whatsoever. I have, on the other hand, paid for Opinions in which Counsel
put their necks on the line in documents which were the very model of
concise précis of the law. It all depends on who your solicitor gives the
    job to.

If you can overcome your aversion to most things German, take them
into a Landesbank the next time you visit Germany. They'll change it
for the other currency - you know, the one you don't like?

Not in Scotland it didn't. Hence why our judicial system is still
    different from that of England.

Of course. I like the look of the new K1200S.

Wouldn't mind a BM car as well ;)

Like and get are obviously totally different things though.

  16. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
Fact: Black slaves brought into England were still property.
Fact: Black slaves who ran away were hunted down like escaped property
    for reward.
Fact: Not until the Emancipation Act of 1829 (effective 1834) were black
slaves given freedom in the colonies AND the UK.

Now, given that many of the former black slaves who were cut adrift by
their loving and caring owners (sic) chose to settle in the UK and
produce descendants, doesn't it make a nonsense of your assertion that
all of our black population is here by choice?

I don't know about Germany, but in Ireland you can still take old paper
money to the Central Bank and have it converted. I'd imagine the same
