pocket pc / gps on a bike

    is anyone using one? there are plenty of dashboard holders for ipaqs
    and the like, but what about something for bike mounting? presumably
    the map pocket on a tank back would be a no-no because of the magnets.
    and obviously rain would have to be taken into consideration.

    I use my Axim PDA and GPS inside the map pocket on the tank bag with no
    problems. At the moment I'm only using Pocket Streets (bundled with
    Autoroute), but it only tells you where you are on a map, it doesn't give
    directions, so I may upgrade sometime.
