Turned up today - ordered from Tippetts on Tuesday morning.

2 x Fork seals
2 x Dust seals
2 x upper bushes
2 x lower bushes
1 x big hex bolt for the Blackbird to hold the tail piece secure.

I trust you've done the bushes and seals before then ?

BTW......Make sure your garage roof has a damn good steel sheet attached to
it for when you let go of the socket on the top of the fork and the spring
escapes.

First time I ever did fork seals, I had the bike on the sidestand as I
undid the fork cap nuts. First one came off ok.

Then I took the second one off...

Lovely.

 

I've done the springs already.

The originals barely popped the top nut off. The Promotives took some
compressing to reassemble. Like clamped in the vice, and me leaning
bodily on the socket wrench type compressing.

 

Hehehe. I suffered similar taking the shocks off my Z750E.
