Please help: Taking apart fairing

The front section of my fairing is held onto the sides with a couple of
little rubber looking things:

Can anybody please tell me how to get these apart?

 

Pinch the protruding conical bit, either by hand from both sides, or, as
is more likely, if there isn't enough room to get fingers in there, use
a flatblade screwdriver to do it one side at a time, then wiggle the
panels apart.

Alternately, are you sure they don't just pull apart?

 

thats just a rubber grommet and the panel has the spigot that just fits
through the
centre of the grommet ,

just pull on the panel and it will pop back out of the grommet

be gentle but firm they are just a press fit

if you have trouble a bit of wd40 as a bit of lubricant will help
