The best I've had from the mrs recently was her trying to convince me that pancakes and crêpes are different things, on the basis that the former is eaten with sugar and lemon, and the latter is... Not quite on a par with her "You know the channel tunnel, does it go *under* the water?" but getting there.
Apparently they were unable to use most of the footage taken in making that show, because the majority of it made the family look too normal.
