Shortish notice perhaps, but we've decided to go for it again this
year. All welcome, plenty of crash space, endless tent space and
space for Dodger in his nest in the garage.

The Bank Holiday weekend at the end of this month is the time. That's
the 27/28/29 for those of you with calendars.
Central Bedfordshire is the location as a lot of you know. For those
that don't, we're in a little village 10 minutes East of Junction 12
    of the M1.

Pixiefest II will be operational from the Friday afternoon for those
who want to start early, we'll prolly stagger to and from the village
pub Saturday with the option of a semi-organised rideout if required.
Barbeque and serious pissup Saturday night and the delights of a
BOMB (Bikers Of Mid Beds) Run (1) Sunday. Barbeque again Sunday night
with a view to finishing off the undoubted lake of booze that the
    house will be afloat in.

There may be some entertainment, but that's Top Secret right now.
OTOH, anybody who would like to provide entertainment of any kind will
    be most welcome.

For those who would like bedspace, book it early. Preference given to
those who *need* it for reasons of pain or infirmity. Should you want
to borrow a tent and/or airbeds, we can do that too. If you have
transport probs but would like to turn out, we can collect/despatch
bodies from Flitwick Station with no difficulty.

Bring yer own booze, bbq ammo, bedroll and yer bike. All these
available locally except bikes, but you could always try Flitwick
Motorcycles and a wedge of cash.

Email me on the address in my headers, Elly at her garagepixies addy
or Loz at his domain if you want further details, location plans,
phone numbers, special treatment, sexual favours etc.

    1. Yes, I'll sort out the #s from last time and molish a list
    directly.

    Pip says...
Ohh, seriously tempted. I can re-live the nostalgia of my first UKRM
    meet.

<thinks> I might cut down on the whiskey consumption this time...

Ah, I'm planning on going up Ben Nevis then.

If the weather doesn't allow that, I may attend.

Game on. Bring Steph too ;-)
ISTR your consumption was impressive, but you were far from alone in
the "helplessly drunk, I'm going to sleep right here, right now"
stakes. Nor in the walking like a zombie the next morning stakes,
    neither.

Oh, you Badly Timed ****. Nuke the fucker and return, eh?
We thought that a lot of people would have commitments this time of
year, so have spread it deliberately. It gets fucking cold again
soon, so we brought it forward from last time's date hoping to avoid
the necessity of supping pints of spirits to keep the chill away.

I may well make an appearance - Sunday most likely. Depends on lots of
    things of course.

    Like if I have a bike.[1]

[1] I do actually have a bike - a VFR V-Tec[2] the legal services people
supplied. However I haven't even been able to have a ride on it as yet.
Battery was flat yesterday too - hooray for Optimates.

[2] '02 model, in dark blue. 10k on the clock but obviously not well loved
if the little spots of corrosion here and there are taken into account. I
would actually really like to get out on this before it has to go back as
when I tried one before I found it utterly awful - but put a lot of that
down to shitty tyres. This one has a set of pretty unworn 020's on it so it
this time it should be just the bike affecting my perceptions.

That would be good, Dan. How's the neck?
Sounds like a pretty fair loaner, really. Yeah, come on over and
we'll facilitate a bit of gentle hoonery.

Uncomfortable - not so much painful - but uncomfortable - can't leave my
head to the left, or tilted back without it progressively getting more
uncomfortable - not very good for a sports bike riding position! It's also
having a bit of a knock on effect on my back.

Still seeing physio and reconsidering whether or not I make a claim for it.
Yes - they originally were going to give me a Deauville but the bloke looked
at his sheet and said "You had a GSX-R? No I don't think a Deauville will do
really" and so they found the VFR. Still not quite the same, but _miles_
better than a Deauville (whatever Badger/Nursey may claim ;) )

It is poss atm - if you can commit to "definite" then I'll be able to
    confirm.

I might be up for this.

Is there anywhere nearby that's safe & discrete for some impromptu stunting
/ formation riding etc for the benefit of my camera & the ukrm calendar?
Maybe a par-cark that's not used on the Sunday?

Naturally you'll not want to reveal any potential locations on the ng!)

    That'd be awful nice, Sorbs.
I'm sure we can come up with a suitable location ;-)
