OK, so it's not exactly pissing down right now but there is the chance of a
huuuuge thunderstorm soon. If we're lucky, hail and possibly flash
    flooding.

    Oioioioi! :)

Yeah - what you said. I had planned a spin today but can't be stuffed going
out in this crap. Why couldn't today have waited until tomorrow and
    yesterday happened today?

I'm sure the OR would be covered in police in the next few weeks after the
    recent death anyway.

I enjoyed the pleasures of Chatswood traffic (mis)management yesterday for a
bit of a blast and shopping :)

Lots of pissed off car drivers ehehe

    ..au:
My thoughts precisely when I looked out the window this morning. I
actually thought that I *did* have a ride on today, but turns out
I had my weekends mixed up.

How far away from the Great Northern Hotel did you say you are?

Good morning Pete. I suppose it's morning somewhere! Threat of fair
weather for a few days by the look of it.

    Cheers,

GB. I'm not far enough from the Gt Nthn and yet I'm too far away from the
    bloody place. :)
    - seen how much they charge for a steak? And then you've got to cook the
    damned thing yourself!

My personal preference is $5 steaks five nights a week at
the Orchard Hotel in Chatswood proper, but given yesterdays
weather, the G.N.H. was about as far as I was prepared to
    venture.

The Orchard Hotel is upstairs over the 7-Eleven, right next
to where that massive 'Interchange' building used to be over
the railway station. I didn't realise that the Interchange has
been *completely* demolished and is *utterly* gone until I
looked up to where it used to be as I stumbled down the stairs
of the pub one night after several too many...

"**** ME! I'M NEVER GONNA DRINK AGAIN!"

G, until next time, of course!
