Was out sorting the jetting on the Guzzi this morning and my normal test
route appeared to be swamped with bikes and what appeared to be motorised
bicycles. Further investigation revealed it was the London to Brighton
    Pioneer Run.

I spent a pleasant couple of hours this afternoon looking at both the
    Pioneers and parked up bikes.

Took a few photos, mostly of stuff that interested me. So that'll be the
    bizarre and decrepit:

Ah, I was just about to ask wtf that was all about, bloody bikes
everywhere. At 12pm they were parked up, stretching for about half a
mile down the sea front. 2 hours later on the way back and they were
going on for a mile, parked on traffic islands, parked in the middle of
the roundabout, bloody everywhere. Whats the guesstimate of how many?
Gotta be a thousand or two.

Oh, and I WILL drop off the minidisc battery pack when I remember, honest :)

Nice pics. We appear to share similar taste in ancient wreckage that still
    runs.

    I like the Pierce Arrow.

Which hero rode down on the pier?
