This Sunday in Melbourne, there is a Pink Ribbon Day Ride (Breast Cancer),
anyonegoing? I'll be there, though I'll be in the work car escorting the
bikes. Making sure they all get through the intersections safely and no
Tintops try to play funny buggers!

It starts at Vermont Bunnings and finishes at the Maroondah Dam. So I'll
see you there if you're going.

What's the speed limits along that route? If they're 60/80kph the
venerable CT90 might be able to keep up...

There are some 100 zones out near Healesville, though whether the group
can actually maintain that kind of speed is another thing altogether.
The other year the ride was being led by Tara Moss, who at the time
could probably be best described as an incompetent learner on a 250cc.
At the back of the pack most of the route through the Dandenong ranges
was negotiated in 1st or 2nd gear and engines boiling even though it was
a very cool day. Fortunately for my bike, I was doing someone a favour
by riding their Gixxer 600 that day. :)

You probably won't be the slowest rider there, so I wouldn't let the
    speed limits deter you.

    mainly 80kmh.. maybe one 90...

A little hilly, but if its anything like last years, you wont go any faster
    than 70 anyhow

plenty of slow learners too... so you should be up the point end of the
    group :)

inspection visit on my way home to Coburg. ;-)

Is that how the ride is being pushed? That breast cancer isn't just a
    female thing?
