A'noon all, Varying places suggest 35-40 psi front and 39-45 psi rear. Anyone got a tried and tested ideal ? Sir is travelling solo, but as you know is not waif like in appearence. Still fitted with the ever so wonderful Michelin Macadams.
Back when I could still be bothered, I used the method of setting the pressures to what I thought was right, then going for a good run and checking the hot pressures at the end. If the increase in pressure was more than 10%, then the starting pressure was low, if it was less than 10%, then the starting pressure was high. Adjust and repeat. Whether a 10% increase in pressure through tyre heating is the ideal is another question entirely.
