  1. Does anyone elses bike really shake its head when behind vehicles such as
vans and large cars at around 70-80ish ?
Mine appears to really suffer from wind buffetting causing a real front end
    wobble.

KRS's have been some of the most stable machines I've ever ridden, even in
    really adverse weather conditions

    Quite!
At the risk of stating the obvious, as you're a non numpty:

Make sure everything obvious is tight, front and rear.
    Check the wheel bearings.
    Check the head bearings.
    Look closely at the tyres.
    Check the swinging arm bearings

And then there is the Burnt trick. Are the rear wheel retaining bolts
    properly tight ;o)

what the **** are you doing 'behind' a car or van in the first place?
they're supposed to be behind you and diminishing in your mirrors fast.

    Will do.

Does anyone know an optimal pressure setting for the Mich Macadams ?

(Apart from remove and replace with proper tyres).

Nothing feels notchy, or moves in an axis it shouldn't in the bearing
    department.

....and when you do replace them with Avon Azaro ST45 and ST46

110/80ZR19 front and 140/80ZR17 on the rear

There may be a steering damper unit in the steering headstock. It should
be packed with a stiff silicon grease. I've found the steering bearings
need a tiny bit of pre-load as well.

Has a previous owner done a bearing change? Not unknown to not seat the
bearings correctly and then subsequent road use push the bearings
properly onto their seats causing looseness.
