Am sure you'll have known for ages [1] but if you didn't know The Living End
are supporting Less Than Jake on their UK tour in November, just in case you
    wanted to see them again....

[1] I have - I must admit to having bought tickets the day they went on sale
for the Nottm gig[2], I just forgot you might want to know
[2] No mainland European dates yet, so I'm flying back for what may turn out
to be a 30-45 minute (at most) support slot.....

Hmmm , I saw this listed at the Birmingham Academy and have my ticket
    ordered.

Sun 12 Nov: Carling Academy Birmingham
Less Than Jake & The Dropkick Murphys plus special guests.

I didn't realise that TLE were the third band , but that's going to be a top
night out for not much cash :0)

I take it you'll be doing the Brixton show?

I'm not too fussed about LTJ or the DMs so am undecided as to whether to
leave after TLE and go out with a few mates or hang around anyway.

Biggest dilemma is whether to go in a TLE t-shirt (esp an Aus-market only
one) or not (being old now, I don't know if it's very cool or very sad to
wear a shirt related to the band yr going to see...)

    That's Brixton, Nottingham..... :)

My folks live in Nottingham and can catch up with a few folk while we're
    there, so was easiest option....

I think you can get away with it if it's a particularly obscure and hard to
    come-by shirt , but otherwise thats a no-no.
I'll try actually reading all the post I'm replying to in future :0/

But what if it's a particularly obscure and hard to come-by *band* that most
people going to the gig won't have heard of.....?
