Ping Vass/Portsmouth-isti

    Where's the best place to park a) cheaply b) securely, for about 8 days
    near the ferry (cross channel) terminal? It's a tenner a day at the port
    itself which more than doubles the cost of the trip...

    There isn't. The Port happens to be, like most Ports, situated in
    Pikey town. Free street parking is also a premium in Pompey, without
    parking bloody miles from it I'd fess the tenner a day, or simply take
    the risk. When you going?
