Hey bud.. Just checking with you.. Trying to kinda get organized for the
doins' in Austin on the 23rd .. I'll be making the run down to Austin on the
22nd or thereabouts.. My plans are to touch base with JailCall and IceMan ..
soon as I get in the area.. I sure would like for the tx.motorcycle group to
be well represented amongst the TMRA II crew that is sure to be there..

I hope you finally got that city inspector squared away and finished that
project...so you can focus on the objectives we're looking at with those
    legislators..

    Your friend in Irving

    ...

I may get up there too. Our motorcycle club has a polar bear contest and I
need the mileage. Communting to work and back wont get me in the top 3
places. My wife will be coming 2 up also, and possibly one of my kids will
take the vstar. We are planning a trip to houston, but that is in February.
Terri has a tax seminar up there and I want to ride up.
Looks like we are going to demolish what we did and just sell the property
and buy something outside the city limits. We willl still come out ahead. I
had planned on doing my own work on weekends and have an investment in tools
and am not about to hire somebody to do work that I can do. My court date
for "working on the weekends" is the 20th and although I will get out of the
ticket (i was not actually doing the work, my son was) the inspector will be
by every weekend looking for me to write another ticket and make it stick.
I talked to both Lowes and Home Depot and they dont want to get involved
even though that new city ordinance will cost them retail sales.
