I just think it's a bit shit, but then again I don't actually see the
point of smart phones at all, and I really can't get excited about
them.

Even as a self-confessed geek my telephony weapon of choice is a nice
telephone-like Sony-Ericsson C510, because it fits in my pocket, and
actually works like a phone.. Sure, At a push it can can do a couple
of new fangled things like take pictures and browse webpages, but
those are features I probably only use a few times a year.

 

I've heard that working for Google has its perks, but that's above and
beyond.

 

I don't care about the phone; it's how crap the ad is. And I don't
normally care about ads; but if you're going to parody something, get
it just a little right, is all I ask.

 

The quickest way to kill an iPhone is to throw it in a bucket of

to do (I have the bastard in my X1, so I know).

That is a problem, true. But look on the bright side, the price of "new,
shiny" gear will drop rapidly as even newer and shinier stuff appears.
I'll probably change my X1 to Touch HD2, when the latter becomes old
news and the price drops.

 

Obviously spent all the budget on cgi, leaving little for the writers,
actors & make-up. Gave Pip an afternoon's work though.
