Well personally I wasn't too bothered, but seeing this sort of
playground behaviour will quickly have you consigned to the twat bin.

<Aside to Bear - How long ago did you put this one in your kf? You're
usually a fairly accurate litmus test.>

Don't go off at me. All I did was make a suggestion and you assumed I
was gettting at you. You are indeed a clueless, know-nothing newbie
    ****, aren't you.

Stupid is as stupid does, said a film character who had more charisma
    than you.

You replied directly to my post ffs. There was reason to reply to me
like that. You don't just walk up to folk in the street & call them
that. But, you did know that.

Word of advice - in matters UKRM and who gets on with whom etc, Google
groups archive is generally your friend.

Sheesh, you know fine and well he'll never recognise you with your rather
shorter hair. Jeeze, I doubt I'd recognise you these days as it's been such
    a long time.

'Playground behaviour'...?? Wot TF is this if not a playground?? You
don't take it fucking *seriously* do you...???

(The phrase 'get a life' springs immediately to mind....)

    ???

Dear oh dear oh dear, how *pathetic* is that....

I'm not getting at anything - you said 'in matters UKRM' (see above)
like it *matters*, I'm simply saying it doesn't. None of *all* of Usenet
matters, let alone this queer little group where strange, biddable
little people try to lay their silly little *rules* on you!! (As fucking
    if....)

Mind you, it's been fun today while I have been up and down the sodding
loft ladder all day long (which is only a couple of metres from this
    machine)....

I actually have a life, i quite like a bit of banter, but to be honest,
it's schoolyard bullying here. Like pack animals always are.

    Ta for the sensible response.

UKRM has actually gotten very tame now compared to how it used to be - was
an extremely robust ng some years ago. Thing that a lot of new folk don't
tend to realise is that people on here are actually very good friends in
real life and meet up regularly. I've been on here for about 7 or 8 years
now (so still a newbie compared to a lot of others) and it was only after I
went to my first EOSM and could put faces to names (and vice versa) that I
felt a little more part of the group and didn't get flamed to buggery.

The pack animals, as you refer to them, are generally the most supportive,
kind folk you could ever wish to hope for in a crisis and their
tolerance/acceptance of people and circumstances can be nothing short of
amazing (eg how many girls on here do you think were actually born girls?).

Of course the place has its arseholes too, but it's not always obvious who
are who until one has been here much longer.
No prob - I'm so sensible, I usually kill a thread dead in its tracks.

Boring, some harsher folks would say...

Ahhh, the pissed / stoned / stopped taking the medication defence.

I did wonder how long it would take for that to come up.

Still, it's 'soon to be unemployed' time again, I believe. So I
    shouldn't have expected any different.

Well, I certainly can't remember that.

Must have been a while back, 'cos I can't actually remember when you
last had a bike to turn up on.
