Is your rear light working? When following you on t'motorway on the
way to Calais your rear light wasn't on so I thought you had your
lights off, but when I overtook you I saw your headlamp on.

I used to wonder about those two. I don't now but there's still no
reason why I shouldn't.

 

I can't help but think that one is being groomed by the other. I can
imagine a conversation along the lines of....

"This doesn't make us gay, does it?

"Noooo, this just means we're great mates.... left a bit"

 

"I noticed your rear wasn't working, can't I insert this rather shiny
bulb?"

"Ring?"

"Of course, where else"

 

I'm sorry to shatter your fantasy but SeanH and I have never partaken
in any rude, nude or any sexual relations of any kind, not even a
cuddle.

For the benefit of the other readers of this thread, I've actually
known Nick for far longer than either of us have been riding
motorcycles and as such have tended to make arrangements regarding
UKRM events with him. On all of the UKRM events I've attended I've met
many of the friendly regulars, but these events have been relatively
far-between, and as such, you're ALL still 40 or so strangers off the
Internet. It's just that I met Nick much earlier. And not on one of
*those* websites.

So, for the record: Nick is my friend; I'm not gay; I'm not being
groomed; I'm engaged and thus have serious emotional and financial
ties with Laura, SWMBO.

Brake light is fine, though. Best go shopping tomorrow...
