No, because that's exactly what I call it. After the 1000's of questions
I get about it being a V8, a Boss-Hoss, a V6, and even arguing with me
that it has a Honda Acc- ord engine, I trust most know what a GW is.
I really do become quite tired of the explanations. It's amazing at how
many people have never see/heard of a Valkyrie before. Some, even bikers
themselves.




I understand referring to a 'V' as a GW, to an extent, for the sake of
trying to be cordial. <g>

Thats one thing I like a bout the Valk vs. a Wing is; one can see the
'exquisite workmanship of that artistic, highly chromined, sparkeling F6
Engine.'' ;>/)

It's all there for the ''eye'' to behold. <g>

But when they say; shoot--''all that Valkyrie is---''is a cheap
Goldwing''. I get real annoyed <g>.

Yeah, I like it when only a few know exactly what a Valkyrie truly is.

Now, when I ride with a few dressed up fancy Harleys, and when we pull
up to stop for a while, mine gets (almost) as many ''looks'' as the
Harleys do..
When I rode Shadows, I didnt get any ''glances''.

Everybody, it seems, rides Harleys are Shadows, it seems. (kidding)

sometimes, I call mine, ''A Boss Hoss Jr.''

Gary,I looked at the photo of yours again.

I like 'em, when they are customized down'' to not having a windshield,
and no passenger seat, Bags, (like yours).
(That artistically build Engine really shines out) (yeeha)

I need to have all that, cause of my Honey, being on the back about 85%
of the time.

But, when riding solo, I run it without the Bags, most of the time..till
''we'' hit the road, of course. BTW, we're hitting the Road this Sunday
and Monday, back to Arkansas.

I saw a Valk the other day, with ''ape Hanger bars'',lowered like min,
no passenger seat,the fenders were chopped a bit, had graphics on the
big tank, and it had a real small windshield, like a
''chopper''........it really looked cool. -Looked bad, in a good way.

BJAY--Precisely my point. They've(Honda) been makin' Wings for 30+
years, and they've still got a wobble, albeit very minor. I was
surprised, to say the least.



Okay, so the GW's wobble is the best around, no other Model can match
it.

Gary, those were some goodlooking customized Valks. I especially like
the Yellow One, called The Cobra. I frequent a Valk site, that jerry
sent me, and have seen some nice Valks.

Yeah, it came from the Lamb's 635 location. That would
be the location on the north side of 635.

 

Lambs as in Honda Store, there off 635?

Wasnt 03, the last year of the famous Valkyrie, the one and only. ;>/)

Yeah, '03 was the Valks sunset. The Valk Interstate was
discontinued much sooner, seems lie '01.

Lamb, now has two places up on 635 between Abrams
& Greenville. On the north side of 635 is a store called
High Five. It's the old Lamb dealership, and now handles
used motorcycles only(As I've been told). The store on
the south side of 635, is the new dealership that was
build most recently. This is the new motorcycles dealer-
ship, along with watercraft, parts, service, etc.
