    Fair enough. A matter of time I feel though, espcially since Vista will be
    using the same boot loading system AIUI.

    Not any more, AIUI - I think the revised bootloader has fallen off the
    feature list. I reckon VMWare just need to pull their finger out of their
    arse, and we'll be fine.

    They're not cheap, though, these MacBooks, compared to a similar core-Duo
    Dell ...

    Mine would do, but my cc is still recovering from over 3 grand of
    carbon fibre.

    And I don't really need to replace my Window laptop just yet. Next
    year it'll be 3 years old so time for an upgrade.

    Yeah, TBH I need to replace my desktop PC first, since it's becoming
    increasingly unreliable. I'd idly considered a Mac Mini or iMac, but
    rejected it on the grounds that I needed something that could run Windows,
    even if only every now and then.

    An intel Mac Mini set up to dual boot might just be the ticket.

    The MacBook is very nice, though
