    Wanna BIN the twistgrip? There's something sticking on mine that seems
    to be being caused by the twistgrip itself. Had it all apart and lubed
    it and the cables up but the throttle still doesn't always snap shut.

    Ah. I did have a go at it. I didn't have the tank off to check the
    cables at the carb end though. They can fray down there if the routing
    isn't perfect. I'll pull the auction and stick it in the post seeing as
    you didn't get a £205 silencer thrown in with the deal!

    It's in the twistgrip somewhere 'cos off the bars it snaps back just
    fine. I deffo owe you several pints.

    hmm don't recall a plastic guide, mebbe there was a bit missing. I must
    admit not being sure exactly how the cables routed themselves through 90
    degrees.
