I'm after a new helmet to use on the trike. I fancy one of them there fighter pilot style things. There was one with a dual visor, it had a tinted smaller visor under the clear one with a nose cut out. have you any idea what I am on about and what they where called. Its not the Roof Boxer though I've had a look at them Thanks -- <--ROT13 it Spam Trap in Header Freedom isn't FREE http://borg.no-ip.com

Veggie Dave says... MJK make leathers in Holland, GLF Accessories sell MJK Leathers I presume you mean the Lazer helmets that GLF stock? to the best of my knowledge Graham at GLF has never stocked open face helmets. He stocks Lazer Revolutions because people keep asking for them.
Sounds like the Caberg Justissimo to me. The chin piece can be removed to make it an open face, leaving the dark and clear visors in place. Which is exactly what I shall do in France in 5 weeks <fx: excited jumping around>, assuming the weather is good!
As the man said a Lazer Revolution is the one you want, flip lid with internal sunshield visor, double-glazed [1] outer visor to stop you seeing your breath in cold temperatures. They used to come with the "fighter-pilot" mask jobby that clicks into place for very-cold days however these are now an accessory that has to be bought separately AFAIK. [1] if you can call plastic glazing?
That's the one - the Reverdand Auvache has one - I was unimpressed by it until he showed me the internal 'flip down' dark visor, which is really rather cool.
thanks for the pointer. from what I remember it wasn't quite like the 2 mentioned. It had a more defined chin guard bit like the Roof one not so full face looking. I was looking for something less full face. I have a Shoei here that needs a new visor clip side piece and I find that to heavy on the trike. Although you don't have to wear a lid on the trike I feel that one could be useful and wanted something a bit different. I'll see if I can get to a shop and look at a few. But in this area bike shops are rarer than virgin sheep after Bear has been on holiday -- <--ROT13 it Spam Trap in Header Freedom isn't FREE http://borg.no-ip.com
