I think it was your good self who had photocopied stuff about reg plates
legislation to show in the event of somebody being pulled over, but if I
recall correctly you mentioned that it was a fair few years ago.

It may be worth your while having a quick look through the updated books,
as there have been quite a few changes. "Registration Mark Regulations
2001" is the thing you need to have a read of.

Had to read it years ago for work. It's only fair to allow someone else
to share the joy of wading through it!!

You are *uncomfortably* close. I am working on the containment and
    installation of HDR Brachytherapy equipment.
Google it, shift uncomfortably and hope you never ever ever......

Having me nailing you over the V-Max by the light of the silvery would
    be preferable (just)

    Rattie says...
Thanks for that, but the plate concerned is on my ex's Rover and I never
drive it. I'll sift through the regs again just to be sure that her
plate complies, cos my middle daughter now drives that car and she's got
to keep away from the '6 points and banned' thing for 2 years. I'm not
too bothered if the ex picks up points, but I'd rather my daughter
    didn't.
