  1. We're spending some idle time on Google Earth. (Well, actually looking for
airfields, but that's another story.) At L'Albornar, between Vilafranca and
Tarragona, there's a massive area that looks like a race track - but it's
got several smaller tracks or something inside it? Any idea what it might
    be?

    tia. :)

Looks like an automotive testing facility.

  3. Aha. That makes sense; and Google did throw up a couple of training courses
on automotive stuff in the environs. Plus, interestingly, it was a Spanish
    Republican Airbase in 1938.

    I thank you.

That's several times you'v been caught being polite. It won't do, you
    know.

  5. Sorry about that.

    Oh.

    Bugger.

Did it again. OK, I promise to find a suitable opportunity soon for a
totally unwarranted and gratuitous insult. <snerk>

It is, sorry for being late.

As a suggestion for Hopkins Airlines, EmpuriaBrava, south of Cap de
Creus in the Alt Emporda has a nice airfield next to the coast.

There should be something near La Seu d'Urgell, but I think it is being
reworked as an airport for charter flights to Andorra.

May be you should contact Aeroclub de Sabadell?
