10:30 this morning, just after I had my blood test.

though I have managed to restrain myself so far (though just got a
call about a job interview for next week, which if I were to get the
role, I'd be Bolly and Stoli all round for everyone[1])

    [1] OK, just me.

I'd be much happier just with a decent pint or two, if you could
    stretch to that!

  7. That's not _quite_ what Chambers says:

"a place, etc of luxury and decadence, used (derog) formerly by
Protestants in reference to the Roman Catholic Church, more recently by
Rastafarians of Western culture, or generally by one group of another
group which they consider to be corrupt."

    TIASS?

never heard of that programming language.

And, to answer Ivan, I never really did must LISP, but I used to be
fluent in such shit languages as ADA, FORTH[1], Pascal, and - **** me
    - Occam. Hell, I still remember some of the op-codes from 6502 machine
    code.

[1] and hilariously - FIFTH - but that's a tad obscure even for the
    level of geekness on here.

The two best I ever saw were Brainfuck and INTERCAL. All more use than
    Pascal.

well, yes, but those were "jokes". The languages I mentioned were
    intended to be taken seriously.

And if you want really sillly joke languages, try one of the 2D ones
like Befunge, or a turing tarpit like Whitespace.

    Programmers are wankers, evidently.
