Did you get my email yesterday?
Yes. Was waiting to double check the manual before replying. However, I'm 99% sure there's no difference in the clutch between the R and RR models. Both have three thicknesses of steel plate available - by using various thicknesses, you set up the height of the clutch stack to be within a certain range. It was me being clever with this before Brands Hatch that caused our problems. The stock ZX7R has a slipper clutch fitted, but the standard set up doesn't allow enough movement in the clutch stack for it to properly activate on the overrun. According to the race kit manual (and as advised by Slick Bass), you put a couple of thinner steel plates in - this allows the clutch stack to ride up the ramps in the clutch sub-hub and disengage on the over-run. However, for some reason which I've not yet worked out, it slipped immediately unde drive. Putting the original steels back in didn't fix it, and while a new set of friction plates made it work for a while, there's obviously something else going on.
