Did that Insurance adjuster call you today? They called me about 9am.
He said he was going to call you today and ask you some questions. I
answered some of them for you. For instance..He asked why you
stopped....I told him you said something about your wiskey was watered
down..your cigar was about at its end and you saw a pink elephant in
the middle of the road. He said he was confused.....I dont know...He
asked also about why I told him you might need a new seat...I told him
yours was all black....now its black, brown and yellow with a big
    wrinkle down the center.

replace the seat.I told him that recovering it would be fine with me.
Did you tell him the cigar was a cuban?
He did question me about the brand like that made a difference.I got a
feeling, someone was lieing about what happened.

Good deal...He asked me where I was going to have it repaired,,,I told
him DFW Honda. He said we can have them fixed where ever we want. I
may put some of the parts on myself if they will let me.

I used to really want to get together and ride with some of these
guys. But they run off the road, run over each other, etc. I'm
starting to think it's a good thing I'm 160 miles to the South
of them when they head out.

==========so the incident was your fault, was it? I guess it was,
because you were behind ? The driver of the vehicle that hits folks
from behind is commonly @ fault! Is that the story -BTW- those Honda
parts will dress up that Yama. =JayT=

Hell no it wasnt my fault. Big Ed stopped in front of me. Had he not
stopped, none of this would of happened. He was out of formation. You
have to watch Big Ed...remember also we were on the way home....He
rides totally different on the way home. He speeds and gets wild out
there on the road. Louie can back me up on this one for sure...

====I realize you guys like to be vague about most stuff. But I'll ask
anyway. Did you actually run into our friend Ed? Did anyone hit the
    pavement?
I assume, it wasnt so bad that no one could not continue the ride
    home. over? MrjayT=

I actually side swipped him. So yes...I ran into the side of him with
the side of my bike. No one hit the pavement. We are just as
professional about crashing as we are about riding. The pavement hurts
and we dont like to hurt so we kept em upright. We looked over our
bikes...got gas and rode on home...called the insurance man and got
    our claims in the works.

    another.
I, too, am glad no one ''bit'' the asphalt.

Formation...stagered formation. There are 3 positions in a
lane...right...center and left. Big Ed was riding in the left side of
the lane. I was riding in the right part of the lane. Now when this
Big Ed Negro decided to stop, he moved to the center of the lane
putting him out of formation. If he had stayed in the left part of the
lane, I would have just sailed right on by him at 75mph. We had on no
helmets that day either...we only need helmets if were going to talk
on the CB Radios. I just tell him what I have to say when I am passing
him. We might should sell them CB Radios.

Thats the way I see the formation deal and im stickin to it.

I know what riding in formation means.
I was just messing with Ed, implying that he is out of formation most of
the time, whether it be on a Bike, or eating at the table. I said
''characterizaton'' refering to our Friend Ed's disposition, period. It
could be that you indeed ''were riding'' his tail too close,
There are some riders, that I know I should stay a good ways behind
them. I've got a friend who rides too close to my rear . It's okay in
traffic, but not on two laners.
    I imagine you've learned a good lesson.

I was way behind him. If I had been right on him, I probably would
have noticed him stopping. Lesson Learned is...Watch Big Ed...hes
subject to throw you a curve at anytime.

=============hmmmmmm sure sounded like you were fairly close, but like
Louie would say....Bjay you werent there''
Looks like the further back one is riding, the easier to see them ''red
    stop lights''.

I usually like to ride atleast 30-50 yards behind folks, in curves.
However I recall ya''ll riding significantly closer, as examplified on
the Mena ride last year, where I was a slower riding' member.

Just caring on with some added discussion here. You know we dont get to
hear about TxMoto wrecks very often.
Remember Bill Cattell, how we analyized his riding straight thru a curve
out on the grass. What all we thought he shouldve done and so 4th.
And ''anonymuse's'' Valk wreck inside his garage.
Other than those two, we dont get to hear about many MC incidents from
    our members.
I forgot about Acorns ''snakebite'' now that was something unusual to
chat about. The ratings, this all helps the TXM ratings...hehe -JayT-

========== Yeah...when they get all that switching done. They'll be
riding Motorcyles sorta like the Cadilac that Johnny Cash built when he
worked at the GM factory back in 1968. Do you recall? They each might
have a Yamma front end and a Honder back end...or
    something..........MrJayT----
