I'd say that arrogance is an external display of confidence which is
not supported by actual ability/knowledge etc. Of course, one can
often appear arrogant to other people who don't realize that one is
actually brilliant, but that's their problem ;-)
"Arrogant is an adjective that may refer to having excessive pride in
    oneself. "

The key is, of course, the word "excessive".

    Heh. I liked this:

    others are considered evil."

Shite test. I don't see how a score of 95% can be described as
    "Moderately Arrogant"

Also bad form. Seems like your described result, 'moderately',
'supremely', etc. does vary but it gives 95% whatever you answer.

Oh I see if you don't chooes a 'screen name' you get a score.
Really shite though isn't it. Have you tried putting in the obvious
    'humble ' answers?

Jolly useful. Might get a worse reception as a 'Parisian' than a
    'Rosbif' round 'our way' though.

BTW the 'BOF' is often accompained by 'pas moi', particularly from
    officialdom.

Nah. Definitely needs to be logarithmic like the decibel scale to cover
    the range properly.
So deci-Champs ref 1 Champ. Possibly subject to appropriate weighting
    scales.

E.g. 90 dC(C) with reference to Competition success. CBA to think what
the A and B weightings might represent.

AC/DC are in a class of their own; more hard rock than heavy metal.
Some of their material can be lyrically quite puerile, though, but
    it's all tongue-in-cheek.
    " "
Many a true word spoken in jest, and all that.
To be fair, Metallica's stuff from the middle of their career is
generally so considered; "Master Of Puppets", "...And Justice For All"
(in truth another terrible production job, but somehow it works) and
their eponymous fifth album, generally known as "The Black Album" due
to the cover design being, basically, well, black (Spinal Tap again!),
with the "Black" album being generally thought of as their finest
moment. You've previously stated you're not an Iron Maiden fan, so I
won't suggest that. Otherwise, it's very subjective. I could throw
names at you like Pantera, Anthrax, Slayer, Alice In Chains, etc., but
I don't feel that would achieve much. It's not exactly something you
personally feel that strongly about, if I may presume.

The one thing everyone misses about metal music is that it's not meant
to be taken too seriously. People who do miss the point, it's a form
of entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. Bands who take
themselves too seriously tend to disappear up their own orifices
    shortly thereafter. It does benefit from some degree of perseverance;
I think one has to learn to listen to it properly, as it's all too
commonly dismissed as "just noise". There is some stunning
musicianship on display, just as there is some very pedestrian stuff
out there. Some lyrics are very intelligently written, while others
are the equivalent of "There once was a man called Enis ...". Just
like any form of modern music, really.

I feel pretty much the same about Country in general, but there are
definitely exceptions. It's worth tracking down some John Denver stuff
on YouTube - he was a seriously talented musician.

Prince is another one - never really liked his stuff, but when it comes
to playing a guitar, he's up there with the best of 'em. Once I
realised that, I started to hear his music differently, iyswim.

Sawn-off definitely, a **** undoubtedly, but talentless? Far from it.
