We need to get someone knowledgeable of the area south of San Antonio .. Joe
Stateson came to mind..

My old friend from Arizona will be arriving in your area on the 16th or 17th
of March.. None of us are familiar with that area and are at a loss for a
designated location for us to meet.. Hopefully, you can recommend a place
that affords some amenities for someone who would be waiting for a while...
It's not certain what time or day that Buddy Helscel will be there .. nor,
is it certain exactly what time the rest of us will arrive.. Somewhere in
the neighborhood of three PM of the 17th, I'd expect..

I don't think you understood what I was asking for, Joe.. We've got more
than a week of full and hard riding ahead of us by the time we get to San
Antonio.. Some of us will have had a hard days ride and much more, just to
get there.. The only riding we will be doing is to get through and around
the area.. LOL.. We are looking for a convenient place and easy to find that
would be south of San Antonio.. for example .. like Parcells or whatever it
is called..

I was hoping that since you live in the area, you'd know of a place south of
the city of San Antonio that would be convenient to IH 35 and IH 10.. One of
our group will be coming from the north like in El Paso.. one will be coming
from the east like in Houston.. the rest of us will be coming from the north
like in DFW and Austin.. We need a place to meet that'd be visible and easy
to find, with access to IH 35, to continue our run to the Mexican border in
Laredo..

LOL... you read like an advertisement for the area Chamber of Commerce or
