Ping : Any plumbers ?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Brownz \(Mobile\), Aug 18, 2009.

  1. I'm trying to locate a cover for the other tap hole in our kitchen sink
(thread pulled off of base of old cover).

I can find them in leftpondia with no hassle, but google and ebay are not
playing ball for any in the UK ???

This is the sort of thing I'm after 1-1/2"

Anyone have one at the bottom of a drawer ?

I'm sure you could get one if you went to Plumbcentre
    http://www.plumbcenter.co.uk/plumb/index.html and probably B&Q.

Screwfix do one but carefully don't specify what size

I'm not surprised, I can never find anything on the B&Q website. Any search
either returns zilch or 17,000 results.

  6. Go into any decent plumbing supply place (not a useless diy shed) and
    ask for one.

  8. Aye, rather thin on the ground around here nowadays.

I think I'll have to widen my search.

If you still do the Intel thing, there's a Screwfix not a million miles
away, & it's next to the new MV & Triumph dealer, & on the little ind.
est. road that leads round to George Whites. So you can plumb & drool
    on the same trip.

I'll be passing my local screwfix on the way home, I could grab one
and stick it in the post if you like. I'm pretty certain delivery
would be less than a fiver!

It is, I couldn't find it on there either. However they are likely to have
one if you're anywhere near one of their emporia.
