Hi there, What is the legal age when a kid can ride as a pillion passenger
being driven by an adult who holds a full UK motorcycle license?

    Regards Alan

It's the same as yesterday, and yesterday the general feeling was:

    1) As long as they can put their feet on the pegs
    2) As long as they can hold on
    3) As long as they're responsible enough to be on a bike
    4) As long as they've got a helmet
    5) As long as you're insured to carry a pillion

And, to add my personal feelings about it:

    6) Do they really need to be on a bike?
    7) Is there no other way that you can transport one?
    8) As long as the owner of the child doesn't mind.

PS ...To the sarcastic replies, I posted the original question yesterday but
when I looked through the NG tonight I could not see the post, I assumed it
had gotten lost so I posted it again.

I think the "twat" comment and the ( He,s waiting for E mails ha ha he he)
    is bang out of order.
As for the memory problem, I will certainly have no trouble remembering the
replies I received here to a straight forward genuine question as a first
( and last ) time poster.....

Get a lot of new members do we?

    1. But you *didn't* google to check, did you?
    2. Actually it's quite mild.
    3. As you will find out now you've top-posted (if you carry on reading the
NG. If you go by your comment above and don't then I do believe there's a
phrase about rattles and stuff that should be deployed shortly)

The DSA have said I can legally hold a licence to ride one twice now.
It would be rude not to use one.

The reason that you couldn't find it is that you mistook this very high
volume and fast-moving NG for some sleepy backwater. To post here
successfully, you need to take some time to understand the basis on
which things are done here. To use a helpful analogy, if you can't be
bothered to drive on the left, you are likely to get your wing mirror
    kicked off.
Then you are much too sensitive to be posting here.
A simple question - pratically the whole worrld knows that you read the
FAQ before posting on a forum. So why couldn't you be bothered to
    follow it?
Yes we do. In fact, a very large number of them. Most of whom can be
arsed to do the minimum amount of research before posting.
