If murder is not something thats likely to adversely affect a pig getting
    promoted, what is?

Why don't you ask your friendly policeman you refer to on here? What's his
    name? Harvey?

Thought "Harvey" is a bent mason that warns fellow members they are being
    investigated by piggies.

    1. How does a pig get promoted? I wasn't aware of any that are
    employed.

    2. Assuming you are actually making a derogatory remark about the
police, are you aware of any police officer who has committed murder
    and then been promoted?

    I'm not.

Being in season? CAn't see any other reason for them getting promoted.
It's not as if you see pigs with a crown on their head running around
the pens or sheds is it?

Depends, in the Porcine world, what is higher than a pig?

  7. I'd suspect that being turned into pork chops and streaky slices would
put a severe cramp on promotion prospects for most porkers.

What the **** you on about now?
