Piers Morgan out - there *is* a God!

  1. I am not normally one to indulge in schadenfreude, (delight in the
misfortunes of others), but in this particular case I will make an
    exception.

    Good riddance, you arsehole!

He'll be popping up elsewhere though, you can be certain that another
paper will be wanting somebody like him - The Sport maybe? ;-)

That or he'll be the next permanent HIGNFY host!

Andy Hewitt secured a place in history by writing:
....and I wonder how many people had no strong opinions about PM until he
    appeared on HIGNFY....

Arrogant, odious, intellectually-challenged, snivelling little shit. I
couldn't have had a better start to the weekend :)

As far as PM goes, no, however........
........ that applies to all journalists in the gutter press IMHO.

Don't patronise (talk down to) me Mr. Sterry!! ;-)
He was an idiot not to have investigated the possibility of the photos being
fakes before publishing them but I don't think even he would have published
them knowing them to be fakes or of dubious origin given the obvious
ramifications of getting so hideously wrong.

  11. So-rry! I like to show that I listen to Radio 4 now and then. ;-)

Whether he showed maliciousness, or (much more likely) an appalling lack of
judgment and professionalism, is academic to me - he's gone, and that's all
    that counts.

Remember one of his recent appearances on "Have I Got News For You" when he
said something like "Oh, c'mon, Hislop, don't play the popularity card with
me", and was promptly humiliated by Paul Merton and the studio audience, who
cheered for Hislop? A smarter man would have started to get the message,
namely that he was a complete and utter arrogant twat, but oh no, not our
Morgan. Well, maybe he is starting to get it now, but then again, maybe not.

Yes, I must admit tonights show seemed a bit lacking as we all knew the
    latest news was missing.

    However, Sir Gambon was class.

Yeah, but then I always have a little hero worship for the 'old school'
actors, they just seem to have a prescence that younger actors are
    lacking nowadays.
