    But for how long?

    And what about luggage space?

  2. I like the melted Audi badge at the front - think that's the power
    steering pump it's sitting on.

Like another poster said, just a tad fucked.

I knew someone that did this to all his cars too. That's given me an
    idea for bikes.. hmm..
I guess that the insurance covered it, but it's all a hassle though init?

Sorry, but the car's gone ... she can have the number of the breakers if
she'd like to order it specially.

It's a by product of petrol and diesel production, whixch is set to
    decline after 2010 or so.
Well. My VOLVO estate has a toroidal tank in the spare wheel space and has
a range of about 230 miles on gas, plus lots more miles on petrol if you
have to find a gas station. [1] So luggage space isn't a problem really. I
took a 4 cyl jap bike down country for a Mr Muck of this parish a few
months ago, and after moving the passanger seat forward a bit and tilting
the back, me and WavyDavy just chucked it in and slammed the tailgate.

The TVR, well. It has **** all boot space to start with. Now it has a 60
litre tankinthe lower boot section, there is enough room left for the
targa panel, toolkit and a sandwich box. Overnight bag goes on the parcel
shelf and that's it. The spare tyre is now a tube of finilec.

[1]I've used about a fivers worth of petrol in 5k miles of motoring.

Aye it works for some cars. Big cars. But what about smaller cars?

More importantly, what happens when the duty is dramatically increased on
    LPG? :-(

That's the reason why I've not bothered with it.

  7. What makes you think the duty will be dramatically increased? People
have been saying that it will be for the last 10 years that I've been
using the stuff and it's still cheaper than petrol.

Well, eventually it will. But only when sales are high enough to hurt
the total fuel tax revenues significantly...

    Properly fucked, that.

How tempted were you to leave it where it was and retreat to a safe
distance to watch the chaos unfold?

Well, depends really. Smaller capacity higher revving engines need newer
tec#h lpg kits which are pricier. The margin gets less the more fuel
    efficient the motor.
Well, the gummint is under pressure on its eco credentials, and LPG is
waaaay cleaner than diesel and petrol, and they promised not to whack up
the dooty on it for 7 years, so we'll see.

I reckon that petrol and everything else will go up after the election
    though.
