Oh please! the run up the west coast - Mallaig, Sky, Fort William,
Oban, Kinlochbervie, Bettyhill, Thurso, Inverness, Great Glen, Glasgow
with a bit of decent weather its the about best 3 or 4 days biking you
could ever have. not a Gatso in site and maybe 2 plodmobiles in the
whole route.

This is very true. There's biking to be had in Scotland that you
won't find anywhere else in the world. I've had some fantastic rides
up there.

 

Sitting on my balcony overlooking the gardens this morning, 18deg, quiet
except for some distant traffic noise, birdsong and Robyn doing an
amazing deep throat, I was reminded of French villages and long summer
holidays. If Scotland and Ireland had Continental summer weather it
would be bliss.

Troo. Saw none in 3 days last year, then three in half an hour as soon
as I ventured into Yorkshire.
