    Bullshit. Try crossing the country north/south or east/west. Sit on [insert
    speed of choice here] kph for several days at a stretch... after a couple of
    hours on the first day you get the feel for the vehicle at that speed...
    thereafter it's pretty difficult to drive at any other speed.. which can be a
    bit of a bugger when you hit populated areas.

    I remember standing in my old place in Wollongong with Clem listening to a
    triple going up and down Ocean St, then surprise, surprise it pulled into my
    drive.

    Time before last in Adelaide. About 2001 I think. Brought my open road
    cruising speed down a bit but vastly improved the economy. I won't even
    notice the 30km/h or so it lopped off the top end.
    Surprise that I finally managed to find it after I did a two hour detour in
    the wrong direction...I hope your current place is easier to find when I get
    a chance to ramble again.
