Had a very pleasant afternoon at Oulton Park watching Team UKRM brave the
    elements.

    I took some pics....

Thanks to everyone who made my son Ben so welcome. He had a great time and
was proudly telling his mum about 'our team'.

Anyone know how they did? (I had to leave 2 hours before the race ended)

p.s. Thanks to Statto/Jackie for hosting the pics.

[1] Sorry there weren't more of Alex & Andy on the bike.

    Nice one.

Is that the team's best this year?

    Nice one.
    Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Didn't realise you were off-colour Andy. Or are you suffering from
    post-race fatigue? GWS either way.

Wet tyres provide _so_ much grip in the wet (duh) that kneedown action
is easily attainable. Apparently - so a Fast Boy told me, before he
    ran away.

If it is that old it could possibly be refrigerant R-12, very nasty,
carcenogenic stuff, no longer used, or it could be R-22, still nasty, but
not quite as bad (now discontinued). Have a look at the compressor (looks
like a black cannister with pipew and wires coming out of it), this will
normally have the refrigerant type stamped on it (not that it will be of any
use, as the appliance is now royally fucked).

Either way, I would bin the appliance and all it's contents.

Oh, and either way, you will have contributed to the hole in the ozone
    layer.

Heh. Dunno about that, but before I went spannering for the race
team, I thought it best to read and otehrwise absorb as much knowledge
and lore relating to bikes in general and racebikes in particular as I
could, to avoid having to ask a series of stupid questions when they
    would be least welcome. IYSWIM.
