It's just a girl in a bikini, so sfw anyway. Well unless you can get
sacked for puking on your keyboard.

    This is what I thought.
Sounds expensive. I'll do some research. Thanks.

  5. You have to be a paid-up member to do that. It'll happily enough let you
upload larger, but as you discovered...

Having just looked through some of your pics, I'm pretty much in
agreement. Sure there's a lot of post work there, but the results are
    excellent.

OK, I nipped out and took some more pics, being a little more scientific
about it. I've uploaded 3 images, cropped in to 100% zoom to aid with
comparison and avoiding my pikey limitations.

One at 10mm, another at 19mm (because I just started shooting away and
didn't check - doh!) and finally one using my 24mm prime. All shots
    taken with a tripod.

I think it's almost as sharp as the prime so nothing really to complain
about. I reckon I just need to take a bit more care on what I focus on.

  9. Sigma will re-work them if asked, but you have to push it a bit.
There have been many buyers unsatisfied with Sigma QC - it seems to be
    almost non-existent on some lenses.

    Priceless comment from a dunderheid on there;
"OBP.Nino - 'bullshits. Tamron is nothing compared to Sigma lens.
Just learn how to use your gear.'"

Twat. Sigma fanboi who's never heard of Tamron SP, and what makes it
worse, he's apparently replying to someone who mentions Tokina, not
    Tamron.

AOL. I've had the Tokina 12-24 and it had a fault. Wouldn't focus
properly, blech. Anyway, I'm getting to like the Sigma now. Did some
more shots after a trip to the beach last night.

The one with the bloke in the foreground seems sharp enough to me. I focus
on him at f/11 and everything looks good.
