    My dad was a plumber and even now, some 50 years after he gave up mending
    pipes, I've still got a few ingots of his plumbers lead. Still got his
    moleskin pads too, although they're probably a bit fucked by now:)

    I asked one of my neighbours if he wanted the lead some time ago and he said
    that no fucker uses it these days (for plumbing) as everyone uses plastic
    pipes. Dunno if that's 100% the case, but I'm sure it will be one day.
