perth - motorbike radars

    do the cops use rear numberplate radars in perth? ive never seen one. i may
    have seen my first travlleing down the south west highway on wednesday

    Indeed they do. It is a digital camera that is linked to the multanova. When
    you go through at warp speed, the multanova takes a beaut glossy of the
    front of the bike and the camera takes a piccie of the arse end to capture
    the number plate.

    That is what the minister for plods trumpeted a while ago in an innovative
    plan to stop murdercyclists from terrorising the fair people of WA.

    I haven't seen one (touch wood) nor have I seen any newspaper articles on
    the phenominal success of this cutting edge technology.
