few words. And if I was sitting in a chair 50 feet away I wouldn't
waste the effort to finish the distance. If you want to come see me
you have to go the distance, not stopping that far away waiting for me
to do the dirty work. I'm not worried about having to track someone
down just because they said something I didn't like. What's that old
saying about sticks and stones?

This goes back much furthur and has gotten very damn serious .. I answered
your question.. That's every bit of all you need to know about it.. You are
probably about as impressed with me, as I am with you.. That's perfectly all
right, too..

Regarding that incident at Breckenridge, Tx. no one has any reason to fire
off at Brian, or me.. unless you were there.. The funny part is, the man who
got slapped is wise enough to keep a low profile, this week.. The most noise
seems to be coming from some assholes in distant parts of the country or
from another idiot that should have got his ass kicked to start with..

decoder rings" I've heard rumors about. <g> The only answer you gave
was "I've got some first hand knowledge of what this is all about..
You don't.." then you went to talk about the slapfest. I was not
asking about the slapfest or the other stuff that took place there. I
wasn't asking for detailed insider info either. A simple "she said a
bunch of lies about Brian and when asked to back them up all she could
do was say to **** off" would have sufficed and I would have dropped
the subject. As it stands your son is all hot and heavy over wanting
to punch a girl in the face if she dared said a simple "**** you" to
his face. I find this funny. But since you don't want to answer the
question I will leave it at that. Forget I ever asked.

As I said before I was not talking about the events at Breckenridge. I
could care less how you handle your own affairs as you are that one
that has to sleep in the bed you make. I was not chastising you or
anyone else for their actions that day or the events that led up to it
though I have my own opinion about the whole ruckus. But it is just
that, my opinion.

As far as being "impressed with you" that is a different question and
irrelevant to the subject. As I mentioned how you handled it was up to
you. All I care about is how you act to me in person. Whether you come
out here or I hook up with you if I ever go through Texas all I care
is how you treat me in person. My offer to buy you (or anyone else in
this group) a drink or three is made with open arms. Believe me, if I
thought you were a class A a-hole I wouldn't even be wasting my time
typing this. I try to base my assessment of a person by what I see in
person and how they act, not what little I gather from a newsgroup. As
you said I know nothing about what this shit is that you're involved
in and could care less. It ain't my fight. You have not attacked me
and I have no bad will towards you. But if something I say down the
line pisses you off so bad you have to drag my character in to it then
I will have to revise that assessment. Right now I am treating you
like I'm treating everyone else on the group, with an open mind.

I used to own an '02 Harley with a 7 year warranty that I bought new
just before the '03 models came out (didn't want an anniversary
model). I have since sold it and now have a 30 year old BMW that I am
working on. I have more pride in that BMW then I did the run of the
mill Harley. At least when I am done with the BMW I can truly claim it
as done by me. So there is nothing wrong with owning an old bike as
they can be more fun then a new one.

I'm with him. I have a 30 year old 250 Enduro that I've restored. Looks
like a new bike. And, I'm damned proud of it. Tinkering is my life.

I just picked up, free, a 30 year old 400 Enduro...no compression. Next
project. Whoopee!
