I see lots of car manufacturers (BMW and VW) using clever technology
with turbo's and ultra high compression injection and now direct
    injection
Are we going to get a flow on to bikes and get back to the 80's ?
I remember reading a magazine (way back in the early 90's or late
80's) about what they were calling at the time "ultra lean burn". ISTR
    stuff about water injection too.
It seems like no one was interested in fuel efficiency until oil hit x
    USD$ per barrel.
I hoped Aprilia was going to go somewhere with their direct injection
2-stroke engine but only ever saw this in a 50cc scooter.
50cc v4 quad turbo anyone (with pedals)? I remember suggestions that
this was where 400cc bikes were heading (without the pedals).
What about diesel engines for those who like touring or cruising
    [sic]?
I see latest MX bikes are using fuel injection, article I read
suggested the biggest problem was pressurizing the fuel tank and the
    weight associated with strengthening it.
I love technology but with EFI and turbo's and all the other
electronic gubbins WTF will be able to fix it, and what about
ownership costs. Be interesting to see what the Chinese produce.
