Mick Doohan: "Pedrosa is listening to the wrong people."

More fall out from Rossi's move to Bridgestone? Now he's got inside
    Pedrobot/Puig's head?

Well, I think all the Mich runners have a right to be unhappy after
Laguna and Brno. At Laguna Michelin committed an unbelievable
logistical mistake by not taking the right tyres, and at Brno they
were way off the pace. But there's some truth in what you say - Rossi
rolled the dice last winter, and seems to have got lucky again - he's
ended up on tyres that he can beat everyone else on, and can take the
    racing to Stoner.

that's really misleading (both the MotoGP site and roadracingworld.com
use that, but not as impressive
    when you look at details
    1) fastest of all the testers - only other testers were slowpokes no
    real contenders there
    2) faster than race pace
    a) almost all the top guys test faster on monday than the previous
    days race even on the
    same tires.
    b) his pace on the new tire with the same engine was actually
*slower* (about a 10th) than race pace
    c) he was 9/10 faster when he switched engines
so everyone is trying to show what a smart move it was, but the facts
don;t support it (although at least
it wasn't a big step backwards - that would be embarassing)

that will only happen if Casey keeps racing to the ground. not because
    Dani makes
    a real comeback
