Peanut butter sticks to the roof of your mouth.
If you put KY jelly on the sandwich it goes down much better.

Obviously grape when I can get it. Redcurrent makes a good
    alternative.

Americans: Stop referring to jam as jelly.

  9. We don't. The stuff you put in sandwiches is called 'jam' in correct
    (i.e. British) English.

Not necessarily. It is possible to buy jars of jelly in Britain (and
jars of jam in the USA). Jam and jelly aren't quite the same thing.
And that's before you start on preserves and fruit spreads. :)

zaax emerged from their own little world to say
The only jelly suitable for a sandwich comes from pork or bacon. The brown
stuff that forms under the layer of fat in a roasting dish. Nicer on toast
    though.

It's not something I eat very often now. As a child in the 60s & 70s, when
we knew nothing about cholesterol, eating dripping on toast was routine.
