    Hi All,

Just putting the call out for instruments and headlight for a 1998
Suzuki Bandit GSF250V (GJ77A). I have tried most of the wreckers on
the east coast and haven't been lucky yet.

    Much appreciated,
    Colin

    you could try
    www.findapart.com.au

Check www.whitepages.com.au for Show and Go in Adelaide. They do a fair
bit of importing. So do Japanese Motorcycle Dismantlers also in Adelaide.

Alternatively, a VDO electronic tacho or an electronic tacho off any
other bike in a home made mount front and centre, a generic headlight,
a bicycle speedo, and a matt black paint job....

Given the bandit is a grey import also try those guys who advertise
all the grey 250's (sumoto or something ?) they advertise heavily in
the bike mags and the bike classifieds.

To be honest though, you'll save a fortune going for the streetfighter
option as Zebee suggests. The Bandit 250 uses a standard 7" round
headlight you should be able to source them for bugger all from the
local car spares place, a shell for mounting it in can be sourced from
the wreckers - the ubiquitous CB250 used it as did many others.
Alternatively you could go one of the twin headlights with 1/4 fairing
that seem to be de rigeur for street fighters (check the classifieds
    in AMCN for options).

Tacho - aftermarket - see streetfighter and accessories places, ditto
speedos, or the oft recommended pushbike speedos are as cheap as
    chips.
