    Long story short, due to the longterm unavailability of a functional CDI,
    and some carburation problems, my madman mechanic has swapped out my 450
    engine for a 550 from another bike mfgr. Sacrilege, I know, but he wanted to
    get it running before fall!

    Anyway, he has the 1987 Honda CMX450C Rebel engine for parts/parting out,
    unless somebody wants the whole thing.

    He's in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, in the East Bay in San
    Leandro.
