I have been parking in NYC now for a month>>> I have received x6
    tickets!!!!!
I have received every type of ticket>>> I even got one for parking
between cars (Believe me I was far away from both!! I have a BRAND new
Ducati!!! I don't want some retatard backing over it!!!)
I even had a Cop run my VIN number when my plate was removed & I was
parking on the Sidewalk (He wrote me x3 tickets > Parking on sidewalk=
    $115 > No license plate= $65 > No Reg Sticker= $65 (the bike IS
registered w/ sticker) He wrote me all of these tickets even though the
BAR owner(of the Bar that I was parking in front of) came out & told
the officer that I have worked in the Neighborhood for years & that He
(Bar owner) was glad to let me park there!!!
    Where can I park????
Is there any dedicated area in TRIBECA/Lower Manhattan???

    THANKS!!!

This is NOT a technical problem. Try rec.motorcycles, or
    alt.motorcycles, or google
for a NG that discusses motorcycling and and around NYC.

There's monthly spam for a website that specializes in NYC parking in
    news://nyc.motorcycles

  6. Please take it to rec.motorcycles!!!

How in the hell do you explain not having a license plate on a
    motorcycle?!?!
    Did someone steal it?

In fact, just to lay this one to rest:
"This group is to be used for the discussion of issues relating to the
technical aspects of motorcycles. Discussions centering around repair,
maintenance, design, modification, etc. of motorcycles would be
acceptable. Crossposting to other newsgroups should be kept at a
minimum and only as is relevant to the groups involved. Postings of a
blatant commercial nature or binary postings are not welcome."

So, there you go. Riders who feel that some traffic laws are inherently
    unfair
can post their frustrations to rec.motorcycles instead and carry on an
endless discussion with that bunch over there.

And Reeky is also the proper place to compare the coconut-carrying
    capacities of
European vs. African Swallows and the reasons why shaft drive
motorcycles won't wheelie or countersteer in the vicinity of crop
    circles.
