Parental worries

  1. Oh, yes, but it was good. Proof perhaps that of the three Germanic
    tribes (DE, CH & AU), at least the Austrians could laugh at themselves. Not
    that the jokes weren't simplistic for the most part, e.g.:

    Traffic cop stops Gerhard Berger in his Ferrari:

    Cop: Kannst du Sich identifizieren? (Can you identify yourself?)
    Gerhard: (Looks in the wing mirror) Jah! 's bin Ich! (Yes! It's me!)

    They did seem to have a lot of sketches about Adolf Schicklegruber
    and Eva Braun, though...

    Yes, I have a very vague recollection of that - can't actually remember

  4. Liechtenstein? Doesn't count. For a start they don't have a TV
    station. For another, most Swiss don't realise it's a separate country.
    Oh, the red faces when a young officer on summer training led his troops
    across the river, not realising he was invading a foreign country!
