  3. Not sure, but I think they split up.
Heh. Only 'some', most seem to like it well enough.

I've never watched it. I've seen trailers for it but that's it.

Coo! That goes back to WWII, I think.

It was certainly currency when I was at school in the '50s.

  9. You have already seen the first episode on the Web, no? It took me
three attempts to watch the lot, but then it took me a lot more than that
to get through the first episode of "Kath and Kim"[1].

[1] I found that much easier to take watching it with Angela while she was
here, for some reason. I still haven't watched the full season but.

Variety is the spice of life.

Anyway, she looks like a well brought-up sort of girl who would know
it's impolite to talk with her mouth full.

Horse has been a car freak for the last few years. 75 yards (or
something metric) on the back of the Zed and he's made a move to the
    dark side.

"Right then Horse, on Saturday afternoon the whole family is going
    swimming"

"No mummy, on Saturday morning the whole family is going swimming. On
Saturday afternoon you can go shopping and daddy and I can go out on the
    motorbike".

    Result.

My flatmate, when he was much younger, didn't come home to his parents'
house one night so they called the police to report their missing son.

The problem there was that he was 23 years old, 6'3" and wearing a black
leather biker jacket[1], black jeans and Dr Marten boots. He had been
working part-time at a hotel in the area and one of the waitresses took a
shine to him so back to her place they did trot.

[1] covered in welding scars, black underseal, old engine oil and a faded
Alien Sex Fiend logo on the back.
