I have a parallel import (Belgium)VTR Firestorm (99). After taking the tank off to change the plugs myself I found to black plastic discs in the 2x carbs on what appears to be a butterfly design. My question is this has the bikes hp been limited and do they normally get imported to the UK this way ? The performance of the bike is fairly sharp where it will pull 60 mph in about 4 secs from a standing stop. I am bewildered as the discs only have about an eighth of them removed where this surely would mean there is less performance than this if they are limiters. I appreciated any suggestions.
